Proposition KNP Approved

Dear Knob Noster Students, Parents, and Community:

On behalf of our students, teachers, and staff, THANK YOU for your support for the passage of Prop KNP!

Your vote has restored facility components that were previously removed from the new high school project which is currently under construction. These components include agriculture, manufacturing, wrestling, sports stadium, and youth sports areas, which will serve a whole host of needs for our students and their instructional, cocurricular and extracurricular programs.
Your vote has significantly enhanced safety in our schools as we move forward, specifically in the areas of overcrowding in cocurricular and extracurricular events, allowing room for ongoing growth in the future.

Your vote has helped protect $3.5 million of annual revenue through the Federal Impact Aid program. We anticipate your vote will place the district in good standing for another decade. Thank you for making the wise financial choice!

The board and administration cannot commend you enough for voting in support of our students, our facilities, and our district’s ongoing financial stability! We want to, once again, say thank you to those who engaged respectfully with the Board of Education and administration leading into this election. We also want to, once again, say thank you to those who made it out to the polls to cast your vote and exercise one of our most important responsibilities as Americans.

Over the course of the last nine years, the district directly, ethically, and clearly communicated the components, rationale, and ultimately the financial request that was placed in front of our community. This occurred through approximately 120 public board meetings, dozens of town hall meetings, multiple communication series, and ongoing social media outlet communications. Throughout this process, the district did not hide, misrepresent, or mislead our community with any information provided. In nearly every publication, the district directly invited all members of the community to meet with us to discuss any concerns or questions.

Looking ahead, the Knob Noster Public Schools team remains committed to continuing to serve our students, faculty, staff, families, and community in the best ways possible. We remain committed to maintaining our performance as one of the top school districts in the state and nation. We remain committed to working together with you in a transparent, ethical, honest, and straightforward manner as we partner together. We remain committed to keeping our students as our top priority.

We are living through an exciting chapter in the history of Knob Noster Public Schools, our community, and our installation. Look for updates and progress to continue to be reported monthly in our board meetings and district publications.
