Knob Noster Public Schools had to call six snow days in the 2018-2019 school year. On Wednesday, April 10, the Knob Noster Board of Education approved a plan to move the last day of school back to Friday, May 24 and forgive four days missed due to inclement weather.
Here is how we will address the days we missed:
April 22:
All students and teachers will have school on Monday, April 22. This was originally scheduled as a no-school day.
May 23:
Originally scheduled as the last day of school with an early dismissal, school will be now be in session a full day for students and teachers.
May 24:
Friday, May 24 will be the last day of school with a 1:00 early dismissal.
May 28-31:
May 28-31 will be four contract make up days for teachers with Professional Development sessions.
Summer School:
Summer school will begin on June 3 and end on June 26.
